Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until everything is well combined and forms a chunky, mush like mixture. You don't want to completely puree everything, so be careful not to over blend.
Mould the mixture into burger patties- I made around 6 but this may vary depending on the size of your burgers.
Heat a little olive or coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the pan is nice and hot, add in your burgers and cook until golden and crispy on both sides.
Once the burgers are ready and piping hot on the inside, spoon over a little extra of the BBQ sauce and let this caramelise on both sides of the patties.
Serve with toppings and bread of choice and dig in!
